SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

These SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the text-messaging program (the “Program”) offered by Business Tax Advisers, LLC (“Business Tax Advisers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They form part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy. By opting in to receive text (SMS/MMS) messages from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not opt in or provide your mobile number.
- Program Description
Business Tax Advisers uses SMS to communicate with prospective and existing clients who opt in through our Facebook lead form, our website, or another enrollment method we make available. Messages may include: following up with leads who request information; inviting you to schedule a consultation; confirming and reminding you about appointments; responding to customer-service inquiries; and other service-related communications regarding your tax advisory needs. Messages may be transactional (customer-care and appointment-related) and/or promotional (marketing).
- Eligibility & Consent
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Business Tax Advisers at the number you provide. Your consent to receive marketing or promotional texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that the mobile number you provide is your own or that you are authorized to enroll it, and that you will not enroll a number belonging to someone else without their permission.
- Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and your service needs. You may receive more than one message per conversation. We reserve the right to change the frequency of messages at any time.
- Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier’s plan and terms. You are responsible for any such charges. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your messaging or data plan.
- Opting Out
You can cancel the Program at any time by replying STOP — or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT — to any message you receive from us. After you opt out, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive further SMS messages from us unless you opt in again.
- Getting Help
For help, reply HELP (or INFO) to any message, or email us at info@businesstaxadvisers.com. Support hours are Monday–Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. ET.
- Keeping Your Number Current
You are responsible for notifying us if you change or give up the mobile number enrolled in the Program. Until you opt out or notify us, we may continue to treat you as the subscriber for that number, and we are not responsible for messages sent to a number you no longer control.
- Delivery; No Warranties
Delivery of messages depends on your mobile carrier’s network and is not guaranteed. The Program is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Business Tax Advisers and the mobile carriers are not liable for delayed, undelivered, or misdirected messages, or for any errors, charges, or transmission problems caused by your carrier or third-party service providers.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Business Tax Advisers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the Program or these Terms.
- Privacy
Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at ______________________. We do not sell or share your mobile opt-in information or phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
- Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
- General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Business Tax Advisers regarding the Program.
